Default carputer problem....

my carputer is acting up. it boots fine, i hear a "beep" but barely any picture on the screen. i see something like "windows bios" on top of screen, blinking but rest of the screen is blacked out.

can you guys guide me how to diagnose this problem? it wz working fine before until i went to bios and choose "default setting", saved it and reboot.
from there on, the problem started.

Do you see the BIOS loading?

If so...
If it's windows, plug in a USB keyboard and right after the BIOS start, press F8 at one or two second intervals. You should eventually get a Windows "Boot" menu, select Safe Mode. I'm assuming you are running Win CE 5.0. That should get you started.

If not...
Pull out your puter, place it on the workstation (lol, a desk), and shine a flashlight at the main board. Try to find a serial number there, then you can look up the manual. Many pre-BIOS errors are signaled via beep-count and can be referenced via the mainboard bio.
