So, I got my Vais Ipod kit and will be running it down to Cartoys soon. Where do you guys have the Ipod connector located at? I am thinking glove compartment unless someelse has a better suggestion.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I put mine in the upper left corner of the glove box. Left enough length to plug into an iPod Classic laying on the upper shelf. Put a silicon sleeve on the iPod to keep it from sliding around. Out of sight, out of mind, and seems to work perfectly. Only take it out to install new music. A great addition to the car.

The answer to this question depends on how you will use the iPod. I chose the glovebox because I use the iPod exclusively for the car. I never take it out except to add music or content. I wear hearing aids and using an iPod with earphones is not an option for me. Consequently I don't need or want easy access to the iPod in the car.
If you take the iPod out frequently, then I think the best option might be to replace the cigarette lighter box with the optional storage box. You would have a nice place to store the iPod with easy access while all the cord remains nearly invisible.

depends what year your car is. if you have a newer model with full integration, i'd run it to the center console. but if you have an older model, i'd look into a kuda mount. it's a leather base that looks OEM and mounts it to the right of the stereo. that way you have easy access to your ipod to change songs, playlists, etc.
