Any diagrams on-line, or has anyone already done this? I think the system is Pioneer b/c of the way the radio is set-up. If that's the case, I'd want something else in there anyway. I don't mind Pioneer systems but their speakers are shiat.

P.S. I am talking about a tweeter on the door (close to the streering wheel).

If it's still under warranty (and it's stock), get it done at the dealership.

it's under warranty, but they will just put the same ****ty tweater in there. i was going to buy a better set of tweeters and install them. just need to know how to get to it.

Here's what I would suggest. Get the tweeter replaced under warranty. Then while you're waiting for the tweeter to be installed, ask them for the service manuals for the car. Inside you'll find teardown instructions and pictures. Ask them for a photocopy - the better shops will let you copy them without any hassle.

Then you can go home, take out the tweeter that's working (so you don't have to pay for a replacement at a later date or at trade in time!) and install one of your choice.
