Lexus ES300 Radio Locked
I have a 2nd hand 1993 Lexus ES 300. My battery almost died few weeks ago and I had to get it jumped to start. I have since replaced it with a new battery, but my radio is locked. It just says SEC.
I tried following the suggestions posted in this forum such as pressing 1 and 6together and then 1 and the 'tune seek' up button but its not budging. Nothing happens. I took it to the dealer and they wanted to charge me $220 for it so I backed out because I don't have that kind of dough.
Can anybody pls help me? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I contacted the original owner but he doesn't remember the code for it. I also don't have the car manual unfortunately. Thanks.
