I agree. Especially since the First one is 1.93 Cu. Ft. and the second one is a Diamond Audio specific enclosure, running at 1.9 Cu. Ft. These are not in line with what the JL's are meant for, and are not NEARLY large enough to be tuned low enough for what you want. Nice looking, but you're not going to get a "universal" enclosure to work on this one. Those cookie cutter solutions are good for those who don't care how it sounds or just want a bit of boom, but they are also boomerangs because when they blow the subs from overdriving them, they will be back to complain.

Ok Big Mack I basically have $200 to spend on a box, I really dont want to get something cheap the subs were $300 as is haha so I wil put moey down for a good and suitable enclosure for these subs, so what box would you recomend for me?

Cool

There has to be an installer in the area that can build one for you for that amount. Will it be the prettiest? No. You pay what you can pay and go from there. You may need to carpet it yourself and have him do the construction. OR - you can go to your local home center (HD, Lowe's), pay for a sheet for MDF, and have them cut it for you to the specs. That's probably going to be your cheapest route vs. buying MDF and the tools you need. Even if you pay $1 a cut, you'd probably be able to get a full box for less than $30-40. Figure a good little cordless drill, drill bits, a box of screws, glue, caulking gun, caulk, spray adhesive, and carpet, and you'd still be under $150. Get creative! There are ways to get it done when you can spend time, even on a budget.

yeah true there is a place by me and there called auto sound and security, they will do the job right cause the specialize in selling JL products and kinda all they sell ha but building my own box would be pretty sweet also. I do have a drill and drill bits its just ive never build one before but i guess i can watch a couple vids on youtube to get a basic knowledge on what to do
