270 up to 300 rms each.
Just get a 500/1v2 to push both and it'll sound great
Dont get the premade ones they suck

i would get a sealed box especially for the w3. i ran the w3 with a ported box before and it sounded okay....the seal will still hit hard but nice clean and tight.

How do you know you want ported? Based on your listening, or what others tell you? And subs do not "put out 500 RMS." Amplifiers "put out" power, subs take it in.
Ooo haha didnt know that but i heard that for a lot of people that listen to rap ported is the best option

As Boomin said, 2 12's on 500 watts is going to be very loud no matter what. I like the fact that a sealed box will go lower and with better extension than vented. The tradeoff is those last 3 dB's of output. I'm willing to trade them in.

Yes I brewed if you go with sealed you are stuck at a certain db Point but with porter you can tune it to whatever since there's a port, I will go sealed if that the best option for me or if you (Big Mack) reccomend that to me haha.

500/1 and a sealed.
I'm running mine with a 500/1 and I think it's perfect.
I can say from experience that ported are definitely louder than sealed, but sealed is tighter and sounds better. That's why I'd just go Sealed>Ported. Especially if this is going in the trunk of your GS.

what would you guys recommend for an sc300? sealed or ported? because the trunk isnt right next to the cabin. there is a gas tank with open area before the cabin so i might need those extra 3db. :]
