Okay, Here's my situation

I have no idea what I should do but I'm going to try and lay it out as much as I can.

I have

2 x JBL GTO628 6.5" (60watts RMS each, Impedance Rating of 2ohm )
2 x JBL GTO928 6x9" (100watts RMS each, Impedance Rating of 2ohm
1 x JBL GTO1004 4 Channel Amp (600 watts RMS at 2ohm impedance)

I am worried that my 6.5" speakers are going to get too much power (from what I learned, 600watts divided by 4 = 150 watts RMS per channel. So that being said, will I be running 150watts to the speaker?

My friend told my not to run the 6x9 and instead run a shallow subwoofer, so I scoped one out that coincidentally is 300 watts RMS, so if I branch 2 channels to this sub, it should be powered perfectly.

I don't know what to do? I have no experience at all with amplifiers, can't I adjust it?

Suggestions, anything?

Default

well with the 4 channel amp you can just lower the gain and you should be fine. The gain controls how much power the speakers will be getting.
