Has anyone here heard anything about the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT headunit iam thinking about picking one up on ebay i got a older alpine flipout in my car now its giving me problems just want to get a good double din with no problems and with bluetooth and ipod control.

I just purchased the avhp4200dvd over the weekend and its pretty responsive. The ipod at first had a slight delay but I unplugged then replugged the adapter, its quick. I don't have the bluetooth but you can see my unit on youtube. You can't go wrong with the pioneer, especially with the price.

So you cant hook up the ipod from the back on this thing? i dont want cables hanging out the front it looks stupid i leave my ipod in the glove box.

It should be in the back. Should be the same, there's usb port and phono jack for the ipod adapter.

The 3200BT has the ipod connection on the front and not the rear. You need the CD-UI50V cable to be able to watch videos off your iPod as well. There's a review from a dude on youtube that explains it here:

For occasional iPod use I guess it's okay, but if you use it all the time, then it would be kind of cumbersome to have the plug in front and right next the the radio button controls all the time.

Sure makes you wonder what these engineers at these manufacturing places are thinking or even think at all

Well, I have a jailbroken iphone and I purchase the A/V rca plugs to view anything on my screen(screenspltr app). Just a 40 dollar investment and hookup thru the AUX and Voila!!! I watch live TV, Pandora and Slacker. Don't really care for the actual ipod connection. I use that for storage (music library).

i dont know what to do if get a new iphone when it comes out i guess it will be ok because my phone is not staying in the car. WTF
