How to Stop/Pause/Cancel XM Nav Traffic?
I have an IS250C and have not had a Lexus (and not had navigation or XM) before. No one at Lexus seems to be able to answer this problem.
How do I stop XM Nav Traffic in the middle of it reading through the LONG list of traffic?
When I use voice to bring up "XM Nav Traffic" it goes to a new screen that asks me to choose a nearby freeway, then when I ask for the freeway (even if it gets it wrong) it starts reading a LONG list of traffic. I (and everyone at Lexus) can't figure out how to stop it mid-list or cancel it mid-list or make it shut up!
By the way, 1-800-25Lexus told me to just change the audio or the chnnel but it reads the traffic "over" any audio station that is playing (whether it is playing USB, SAT, AM, FM or CD) so that doesn't help, and even when I totally turn the audio off it keeps reading its list! The only way to shut it up is to turn off the car. I've tried verbally going to XM Nav Traffic again while it's reading and saying "cancel" or "suspend" but that cancels or suspends voice guidance or voice recognition and doesn't stop the annoying long list.
Another totally unacceptable way I found is if I go back into XM Nav Traffic and then choose what I hope is a nearby freeway without much traffic, then it says "no information found" and stops. But of course that is ridiculous to have to do.
Any help is much appreciated (this is my first time here)!
