I recently upgraded the operating system software on my iPhone to version 4.0 and now the USB connection in my IS 250C does not work. All I get is that the device is not a recognized device. Up until I upgraded the software, the connection worked fine and I could use the iPod section of my iPhone in the car. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, is there a fix for it?

I had the same problem and messege but on an aftermarket unit (pioneer). I've been looking for a solution but havent found anything as of yet. If I hear/see anything, I'll be sure to post.

have you try downgrading your firm ware to an older one that work

Ok, I think I might have found a possible fix. I tried it on mines and it worked fine. Called a couple of my buddies with the same issue and it worked fine as well.

Turn off iphone then plug it into the USB. It should come on by itself. It will go thru a cycle for about 30 seconds then the radio will recognize it. I read it in the apple forum and a lot of people are happy with this fix. Once I did it, I unplugged it to make sure it continued to work and it worked fine. Only had to do it one time.
