what 4 channel amp do you guys recommend
I have mb quart component speakers
I have a jl audio 500/1 amp for subs probably going to use my 12w6v2 or 2 12w3s
anyways
I know theres the 300/4 I never had one but I hear jl amps are power hungry and am worried about all this load on the battery and alternator also.

There are so many choices out there that it really depends on what you're looking for. The MBQ don't need much power but more is always nice to have
If you want to match your current Jl amp then go for something from that line and call it a day!

run a single sub with that 500/1 and get the matching 4 channel. Just do "the big 3" and you'll be fine.

JL Audio 300/4 is a great amp. I'm using a JL 500/5 (5ch), I been very happy with it. I would also recommend looking into the new JL audio HD amps. They are very efficient with great power.

I did buy a 300/4 off the forums tho
i dunno about these mb quarts I have had them for awhile never used them, Back when i was really into sound it was all about PPI amps and mb quart speakers

The Rockford Fosgate got a newer 4 channel, P500-4. This amp is an above average amp and cheaper than JL.
