Which 2DIN do you think is the best?
I'm looking into getting a new 2DIN with nav and bluetooth and I'm having a tough time deciding on which unit to get. Its a toss up between the following models.
Alpine IVA-W505/P1
Clarion NX700
Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT
Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT
I was really leaning towards the Eclipse AVN726E but I heard Eclipse might be done and gone soon and going by its mother company Fujitsu Ten who will be focusing more on OEM stereos. And I did like the Apline INA-W900BT but I hate the shape of the bottom. Also does anyone knows the difference between the Z120BT and Z110BT. As far as I can tell all the specs are pretty much the same. Anyone input would be appreciated.

Im a really big fan of Kenwood electronics. I currently have the Kenwood DDX7017 in my 2002 Corvette and the Alpine iva w505 in my 99 GS and im planning on switching it out a kenwood model. The plus about the Kenwood also is that all the accessories are a little cheaper then alpine and the others listed. Good luck with your choice !

I'm bias to Pioneer, i've always liked their interface and simplicity compared to other systems. Since there's a new Z model, you should be able to find the older one for cheap on clearance. You can always update the software.
BTW, do Eclipse, Alpine, and Kenwood offer updates?

I've been comparing the two Pioneer units you mentioned...the z110BT and the z120BT. I came across a real good video review of the 120 in case you're interested. Check it out...

$1,400 for a nav units seems wicked high to me. Even at around $1k it's still too pricey. I snagged a Pioneer Avic X710BT for less than $500 recently. I've got nav, bluetooth (no adapter needed), SD slot, audio/video playback, cd player and backup cam. I could add HD and Sat radio. It lacks one major feature IMO that the Z110/120bt has which is a 7" screen (mine is 5.8"). Other than that it's minor stuff like DVD playback (I can play video off the SD card), Pandora radio (kinda pointless IMO, of course I'm diehard windows mobile user), slightlier fancy nav interface, and a few extra voice commands. Not worth the $500+ premium if you can do without the larger screen and minor gimmicks.
Having said that, 7"+ nav screen's are really nice

But if I had to go with a unit like yours it would be the X920BT

Yeah I hear ya. The size of the screen on mine kinda reminds me of how the older 5 series nav screens looked. The interior of my ES is on the smaller size though so reaching the nav screen from the drivers seat is less than arms length and is kept pretty close so 5.8" is enough. If I ever install a nav unit in my Cadillac it'd have to be 7", that interior is huge and I keep the seat all the way back.

Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT is the best 2DIN. I am really agreed with the people who supports that. I have no problem with Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT. So, I will go with the Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT. There is no doubt about it.

If I HAD to pick between the units you mentioned, it'd be a clear victory for the Z120, but it's really the only Pioneer product I'd consider buying nowadays. Kenwood has become the leader in all things double-din related, IMO, whereas Pioneer has fallen off significantly.
