Help! I'm installing an Alpine IVA-C801 and the Navigation System (NVE-N852A) in a 2000 GS400 (Pioneer system). I need to locate the following wires to connect to the system: vehicle speed sensor, park brake light sensor, reverse light sensor, brake light sensor.

So far this is what I've been able to figure out by doing a search on ClubLexus:

VSS - red/white wire located left of the steering column.
Brake Wire - green/white wire in driver's kick panel.
Reverse Wire - connect directly to reverse lights in drunk
Park Brake - will bypass by connecting a toggle switch to the chasis for a grounding point.

Please let me know if the above is correct. If not, please me know the wire color and location where it can be found.

Installation success! Alpine In-Dach LCD and Nav. System. Works great!

For anyone who is doing a similar install, here's the definitive location of the '00 GS400 vehicle speed sensor wire. It is a Violet wire with a white stripe located in a blue color 6 pin plug underneath the driver's dash to the left of the steering colomn.
