Tuning horns took forever and I could not get it sounding 'great' with anything less than a 31-band EQ. My first set ever was the Image Dynamics CD1e which was decent but as expected, it was entry level. Then I stepped up to the CD2 Pro and finally the rare CD3 Ultra (wonder how many of them exist today?). the CD3 was by far the hardest to tune, but when done right, holy cow they were accurate. Had to sell those when I bought my GS because no way I could fit them under the dash, at least the passenger side. Each driver weighed almost 10lb. Then I decided the car's environment was too harsh to really enjoy anything accurate so I 'toned' down a bit and concentrated on home audio instead. LOL

When installed right, the horns provided the soundstage and imaging that no other tweeter setup could provide. The location was just ideal.
