Can this be done ?
Also I am using a Pioneer (DEH p940mp) with dsp. Is there an in dash signal processor that will work so it retains the time alignment on the deck?

Some people on this board have made their own cables to interface OEM to OEM stuff, but not what I think you're trying to do. I looked up your headunit (sweet BTW) and it says it has an IP bus interface. My guess is the '99 GS doesn't use IP bus so you would need some sort of adaptor or something that definitely would be hard to find/make yourself. Even then who knows if it would work.
My suggestion: Sell your OEM cd changer here on CL and put the $$$ towards getting a pioneer one, that way it will interface with your HU 100% and you can get CD TEXT and all those other goodies.
Just a thought. Good luck.
