Does anyone have experience with this type of unit??? I'm skeptical when I see relatively inexpensive electronics on ebay......would be cool to have all that functionality in one little piece, though. Thoughts????????????

Pyle probably isnt the best unit if you're looking for a unit to play all that stuff. Im not familiar with that unit, but I know a lot of their speakers are sub par IMO. The remote also looks like its from a 1982 Zenith. It would get the job done, but I would probably save and go with a better brand.

Hey how bad can the picture quality be with a DVD? I would say go for it, the only thing I can think of is that it might not last that long. These kinds of home electronics can last long (Apex) but in a car environment, that brings up other issues like vibration.
I have seen deals like DVD players with 5" screens on eBay for around $250-300. I would definitely get it if I didn't have to drive all the time. If the passengers want to watch TV they can pay for it themselves!
Oh yeah please don't mount the monitor in the front where you will be tempted to watch while driving.
