Default Problem with my Pioneer Avic F90BT

I recently bought a 97 ES300 and it came with a Pioneer Avic F90BT. It has some very nice features but it has an annoying problem, the touch screen is very unresponsive. You have to press it 2 or 3 times for it to do what you want. Does anybody know anything about these units? Do I need to send it in to a repair shop?

I've got the F90BT in my truck. You need to make sure you have the latest firmware installed on it - vast improvement over the earlier stuff which was incredibly buggy. I just got the latest map update from Pioneer and it came with a software update as well that also cleaned things up (and was a big step up in usefulness of the nav maps with addition of road signs).

As others mentioned, check out avic411 - it's the best source for all things pioneer nav
