2008 Lexus Sirius Radio Question
Originally posted this question in the GS section, but figure this might be a broader topic across all Lexus line.
I have a 2008 Lexus GS Sirius Radio with Stock Nav and stock Sirius (I believe, it came with the car). It does not have ML.
I believe the Sirius I have is the SIGMA, it has hockey puck antenna suck to the front windshield above the rearview mirror.
The issue I have is for every bridge, tree, freeway sign I pass under, I loses signal.
Living in Southern California, we have a lot of those and it does get very annoying. I recently activated the Sirius a few weeks ago after having the loaner 2011 RX and that seems not to have the problem.
Anyone know how to improve the signal? Should I swap it for some aftermarket brand? Replace the antenna - how to do?
Thanks,
KN
