MLP-10 in '07 GX
Thanks for all your comments and questions. Helped me make my decision on replacing my SL2i with the ML+. I have an '07 GX 470 with Mark Levinson and Nav. Install was relatively easy once you remove the head unit. Installed the iOS 5 firmware update last night with no problems. So far everything works as described by Vaistech. The sound difference is very noticeable.
What's really cool is I have a SlingBox at home and Slingplayer mobile on my iPhone so I was able to watch TV on my Nav screen! The pictures not bad with a good cell signal.
I do have one question: If anyone else has installed the ML+ in a GX, where did you put it? It would be nice to have some extension cables so it could be installed under a front seat. For now I attached it to the panel above the passenger floor board under the glove box. Works, but not a great location.

I have installed MLP10 on my 2008 Lexus LS460 without Mark Levinson, without self parking, and as you know, everything works great except my backup camera is not working.
I was told that you have been working on testing but I was wondering when do you expect to have this problem solved.

I have noticed that when I receive a test message, a box is displayed that says text message and give the name of the person the message is from and the time. Is it possible to display the message itself on the screen?

I installed the ML+ in my '08 GS350 in July in the left vertical side of the passenger footwell. Unit worked great until recently when it became somewhat erratic. Have been working with Vaistech and they have been great. It is possible that heat is being generated in the area of the unit. Has anyone had a problem like that? When installing the unit in this location, did you place any insulating material behind the unit or do anything else special? Are there any other suggested installation spots where heat wouldn't be an issue? Any thoughts would really be appreciated. Thank you.
