Thanks swong. Your last post confused me a little bit. The only reason Im using a 8in sub is because from what I understand the stock one is 8 inches. Id rather choose something bigger if it was easier to put in as it looks like there is more options out there.

According to zgones chart, the sub is only 20CM, which is 8 inches. How would a bigger one require less time? I want something as easy as possible, without needing to build anything

Those are 8" DVC's but you need to find a driver that is suited to an infinite baffle setup (no enclosure basically). Divers that fit this criteria have a low QTS and also tend to have a higher VAS.

You just lost me there mkorsu, no idea what QTS and VAS is. Or what a driver is... I thought a driver was another term for speaker lol

swang, I looked through that website, but only found 1 8inch woofer(not subwoofer). The 1500 series, but that is only at 4ohm too

Can either one of you just give me a recommendation with the exact model that works as a drop in? Ill just buy whatever you tell me to lol

It is D2 or D4 meaning dual voice coil so the D4 can be wired at a 8 ohm load.

I went ahead and got Goldwood GW-408D 8" Poly DVC Woofer, I called parts express and they told me that that was a 8 inch dual voice 8 ohm sub.
