Ok, so I am getting everything together that is needed to do the dynaudio install. THE BOOK and previous threads call for a 3/8" spacer which is perfect for the 1/2" baffle. I live in the LA area and have called and went to every stereo shop in a 20 mile radius trying to find a 3/8" speaker spacer ring for 6.5" speaker. The consensus is that everyplace only has a 1" spacer ring (and since I am not Percy that will not work) or they carry a 1/4" spacer ring. The guy at Al & Ed's looked up in their Metra book and said that they don't make a 3/8" spacer. I know that I could get 3/8" mdf and cut my own but that just seems like a PIA for this already complicated speaker install. Where is everybody else getting their rings or is fabricating your own the only way to do it?
Thank you
Thank you

I would think that if you found a 1/2 and grinded it down....that would be an option...
Still think that a nice mdf one would fit better, sound better, and allow you to screw the speaker in snug.
Good Luck.
