sc300/400 front speaker baffle
Sorry to post something that's probably been asked before but I've been searching the forums and could hardly find anything on the subject. I was wondering if anyone has made a 6.5" front speaker baffle for their sc's and has a picture of it.
Thanks,
Antonio

there are a few threads about this.

The process is pretty straight forward. Obvious once you pull the pod out of the door.
1. Pull the pods out.
2. Separate them by taking out the screws.
3. Use a dremel or other tool to cut a level surface. There is a 1/2 inch lip that goes all the way around the opening. However, there are about 6 spots that you need to cut some plastic off. This leaves a clean edge to mount a baffle board to.
4. Trace out a 1/2 piece of MDF to fit in the opening. When you get it right...flip it over and cut another for the other side.
5. Use liquid-nails or high strength caulking around the edge. Screw down the MDF with 4 or 5 selftapping screws....be sure to pre-drill so you don't crack the plastic.
6. Cut the whole in a place that lines up with the speaker grill and that fits where the magnet lines up.
7. Drill a hole to run the wire...mount it up and you are done.
