Default After-market subs not working. blown fuse?

Ok so I have a simple 2 subs/1amp setup in my trunk.

All of a sudden my subs stopped working. The "Protect" light on my little remote **** is turned off.

I'm pretty sure that it's just a blown fuse as it's happened before.

I'm a complete audio noob so any help would be appreciated.

I could just take it to the shop, but I thought I'd try to do it myself so I could just learn/do it again later on.

Do I just just switch out the fuse thats connected to my car battery?
Do I need to give you guys more info?

have you confirmed that it's the fuse at the battery? Remove the negative terminal and replace the fuse with a new one. Re attach the terminal to the battery.
