Car phone for 93 ES300
I just bought a 93 ES300 about a week. It came with a Lexus car phone in it, so I am guessing the phone came with the car. I must have pressed some kind of button because now every time I start my car (or even just turn my key to where it's just my battery on) the phone beeps. It is really loud and very annoying! I took the phone and the phone holder out of the middle console that it was in, but that did not help. The phone says it is locked. I have no idea how to make it so that the phone is completely disconnected. Anyone know how to disconnect the car phone/ unlock it so I can get rid of the beeping?

Sorry for the late reply. Find the phone ECU in the trunk and unplug the connectors from it. If any of the ECU connectors formerly plugged into the ECU can plug together, do that. If you cut any wires when removing the handset, do the necessary console disassembly and unplug the handset connectors. If any wires in the trunk are left dangling after you disconnect them from the ECU, tuck them up and away from the floor of the car since water sometimes can cause a short circuit.
