Dynaudio install & need to know which speaker wire is + and -
I'm in the middle of installing the dynaudio 240 series speakers. I have "The book" which has made everything really easy so far. But I need to hook up the crossover from the factory wiring but I don't know which one is positive and which one is negative. I think one wire is blue and the other is pink. Anybody know which one is which?
Thank you

What CAR do you have? Which factory radio system?
If I remeber correctly, for the GS (if thats what you have) blue is paired with green, pink is paired with purple. Can't remember which is +/- anyway. (My Alzheimer's may have kicked in here though - caution) Anyway, you'll need help from someone with schematics handy.

engin_ear,
Sorry, should have posted car and radio system. That alone makes a big difference. I have GS400 with the pioneer stock system. I just remembered that Percy included schematics in his book. I am looking over them right now and see that the right front speakers have different coloring wiring than the left front speakers. According to the schematics, for the left front door, p is positive and v is negative. I am guessing that p stands for pink and v stands for ??? voilet? I just wanted to verify this is correct before I connect the dyns and close up the door.
Thank you,
