Hi everybody, Let me first just explain what I plan on doing.
Instead of buying a single din radio, and a dash kit for my lexus es300 '96, im goin to just buy a multi disc cd changer.
The thing is, can I properly have a cd changer working in my car, if my stereo does NOT have a cd button?
If I buy a cd changer with a remote, will I be able to have a cd changer in my car to play the cds?
Thanks

Hi to all,
As for the changer requirements, if your radio does NOT have changer controls on the front of the face then the ONLY option you will have to get a changer in your car will be an RF interface one. This is where you receive your CD changer signal via your FM radio. Typical (88.5) or abouts. You will not have control over the changer from your radio but rather with a seperate controler that comes with the changer. There are several of these types of changers made and can vary in price from about $150 and up. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions you may contact me via my web site at: www.lajollaaudiorepair.com
