Can CD changers be repaired? - skipping
My CD changer has been skipping for quite some time. I took it out today to see if I can do anything. I can't. Can the changer be repaired to stop skipping? It is a 12 cd changer. in 92 SC400.

There's a reasonable chance you could fix the problem by cleaning the laser lens with some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud. No guarantees, of course, but you should try it before considering a repair.
