i just bought this used car and i need to change out the speakers and cd changer because im tired of listening to tapes.

i really dont have the money for anything fancy.

i am debating on wether or not to replace the factory head unit.

i have one rockford fosgate 360 amp and a 12" rockford sub to put in the trunk.....do i have to change out the head unit to hook this up?

i also bought a fm modulator cd changer by pioneer but someone told me the sound quality would suck because its going through the radio.

i want a good quality sound.

i also bought new rockford fosgate components and 6x9's.

someone please advise me on what to do.

get a Line Level Converter and splice it with yer back speakers to the sub amp.
