I'm not sure about an ML system but I used an adapter to install a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT in my ES-350 and still use the factory amp. The PAC TATO adapter works great even though my car isn't listed on the company's site as being compatible.

Thanks so much, Robert. And to the rest of the group, I'm also wondering whether it's possible and/or better to use stock screen for DVD playback instead.
