Wow, $125 is a great price. My dealer wanted $450 installed in San Francisco, CA. How can I get the price for $125? Is there a promotion your state has or do you think I can tell them to refer to clublexus website to get the deal too? I have a 2001 too and want to upgrade as well. Thanks again.

Check with your dealer's parts dept today...
Lexus has recently lowered the price of the update DVDs to $250. (MSRP)

Lexus Customer Service Center offered me a 50-percent-off
deal on the update navigation DVD a couple of months ago.
(this was 50% off the original $499 MSRP at the time)

The parts guy at my Lexus dealer told me to wait
because he knew the new DVDs are arriving this week.
Sure enough, 2 months later, a newer DVD and a lowered price
of $250. I still got the 50% off, so the final price was $125.

After using this version for a few days I would have to say the Canadian portion is dismal, fortunately it came with the '03's so I didn't have to pay for it. Garmin's Canadian coverage for my wife's Street Pilot 3 is much better and strangely enough Microsoft's Streets & Trips is the best of all. No route guidance though.

Your IS is a 2002 so it comes with the upgrade I believe.
