Default What kind of switch is used in beat sonic Navigation override

i originally posted this in the IS forum but realized it should be here instead.

can anyone tell me what kind of switch is used for the beat sonic navigation override.

i want to make a new switch similar to this post
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6071610-post71.html

i know its a rocker switch used in the above link and that it is a DPDT but is it an on-on, on-off, mom-off-mom?? there are many options of the style and i don't want to order the wrong one

i want to order a switch from here http://www.wiringproducts.com/contents/en-us/p999.html but don't know which kind is needed to duplicate the one like the above thread.

thanks in advance

I've seen pictures of both the switches but I'm curious of the specs on the switch.

i know its a double pole double throw but i need to know if its on-on, on-off, mom-off-mom.

i want to replace the beatsonic one with my own nicer/smaller one

thats the answer I'm looking for.
Thanks!!

I got an email from beat sonic today and they did confirm the switch is an on-on incase anyone else is interested in switching out the large one that comes with it.

My understanding is that you will need a 6 prong switch. I did not like the RED radio shack switch so I kept the one that came with the harness.

you can go here and pick out any switch that is a DPDT on-on switch.

I'm gonna use this one and mount it where the coin holder is in a blank filler.

cool....would love to see the pics once your done. I ended up placing the supplied switch right side of steering column-just under the wiper switch. I first used the supplied sticky tape. LOOKED ugly.... so I ended up super gluing it. Looks much cleaner .

The Prestige one uses the volume control on the steering wheel now for the newer models.
