Default 99 GS300 Install help

I have another nakamichi 10" sub and a nakamichi amp that I am fixing to install in my car but I am not real sure on getting behind the head unit to connect the wiring crap. Does anyone have pics or instructions on taking it apart so I can get to the back of the head unit?

Use a small flat head screw driver( tape it with tape, so it won't damage your interior) and pry on the side of the center vent. There're 4 clips holding the center vent.
Then do the same on the ashtray, but I find it easier just to pop the shifter cover( still 4 clips holding it). You have to put the car in N or another range to clear it. After that you will see 4-10mm bolt+1 clip holding the radio head unit.
I think there's some intruction in CL about this, but you have to do the search. Good luck.

Thanks, I had searched the forums and couldnt find it but maybe it was just me. I should have figured this out on my own but I always have a tougher time finding things on my GS, I am always scared I am going to break something which I never cared about on my ES or 4 runner. I guess I will splice into my line out from my head unit and run it to my amp, does anyone know which color this cable is? That is normally an easy task on an aftermarket head unit that has about 7 cables max but the factory one has a lot more than that. Or does anyone have a suggestion of a better way to do it?
