Question Quick Question

I'm trying to find an online source to get 3/8" spacer rings for my Dyn install. I've found 1" ones and debating whether I will cut them in half and planing them down. Thanx.

I ended up using 1" spacers for my Dynaudio 240 MKII in my LS430. The factory spacer had about 1" depth, so I wanted to keep it the same.

I did try the Toyota Echo/Avalon spacer at www.autotoys.com that will fit the Lexus with the exact same 3 screw hole configuration, but it wouldn't fit the Dynaudio MW170 7" driver. So, I stuck with the generic 1" spacer and sandwiched it againt the doors sheet metal with 1" flat washers and dynamat. The outside diameter of the generic spacers is just a little smaller than the metal opening on the LS430 (the flat washers are manditory).

www.autotoys.com does have 1/2"spacers.
