i'm planning to make a box and have a portion of it made of clear plexiglass or what ever that clear glass is. well anyways if i put a flouresent tube inside the box when bass hit. will the pressure from the bass pop the light bulb??

J - I had 2 sticks of neon ( from Street Glow ) in my old sub box & never had any problems with them. Go for it!!

You'll probably want to keep the neon off to the side of the woofers if you can. Better to keep the neon in an area where the pressure will build more equally around the tube, rather than in a spot like right behind the woofer where it will be in the direct wave and the front of the tube will not see similar pressure as the rear = more stress. Wedged along an edge might be good too, for support.
