Default 7" Touch Screen Navi/CD/DVD Headunit in my SC300?

Would really like to "update" the interior of my car. First initial thought was to ditch the ancient CD/Cassette/Radio setup and install a nice touch screen head unit..

I'd REALLY like to get a factory Lexus one in there, something like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Lexus-IS...ht_1600wt_1037

But would this even work? Any other brands/options for me? I want something easy to install and would really prefer it to have Navigation.. Satellite radio would be amazing as well.

Shane

PS. If someone is selling what I'm looking for, PM me.. No intention of this being a wanted ad though.

Could be possible, but you'll need the original harness cut out the IS and theres a lot of wiring that will go on. For the same price get the pioneer double din and booya... simple and easy

True, true.. I guess I don't REALLY need navigation.. But I would like Satellite radio....

The speakers in my car seem pretty quiet to.. Hoping a new head unit will change that.

There are much easier and cheaper ways to get the functionality you want. However, you started by saying you want to update your interior. Nothing says modern like carbon fiber.

Hmm.. Carbon Fiber would look sick..

First things first though.. I have tan interior and my seats are torn. I just bought the car. Having a hard time locating some decent seat covers. I'd like to get some leather/vinyl ones, but I don't really want to pay a small fortune.. Any ideas where I can get some? I'm aiming for a black/tan two-tone theme inside.. Turning some of that black in Carbon Fiber stuff would be awesome though..

I guess I have a lot of searching to do.

Seat covers: http://www.leatherseats.com/vehicle_...&search=Search

I saw a mid-90's SC in the grocery store parking lot last night that had an aftermarket double-DIN nav. Somehow these things look better in an SC than in other Lexus models.

or a cheaper and clean looking alternative

They fit pretty nice and match the colors nicely. Not bad for a 100 bucks
