Default Wiring Check Electric Fans (on/off/on+thermo)

Can anyone see anything wrong with this diagram. My main concern is how the switch is suppose to be wired. The diagram on the side is what comes with the switch and Im hoping its right. Please let me know if you have any suggestion so my car wont have to haunt forums after its gone =]

Thanks

everything looks ok, the switch should close at high temp completing the auto circuit. as long as that is functioning your good to go

is it suppose to be like one side going to ground and the other one to a 12v or is it suppose to connect between a live wire to close the circuit?

It depends on if it's a two or three wire switch, the two wire setup would be + (power) to + (signal), grounded through the threads. A three wire would have a power signal and ground wire

I have a few questions can you go into further detail about your setup... especially the switch, like where it's going to be mounted and what vehicle it's going to be used on.. I'm asking because I'm wondering why not just splice the fan clutch switch and save your self the hassle
