Angry Fog Light rewire help on GS

If anyone has had success with getting the fog lights to operate without the headlamps on could you please e-mail instructions. I do not want to use another switch and that seems to be the problem from what I am finding. I simply want the fog lights on with the parking lights and still want the stock switch to work them. I attempted a very simple rewire of the fog light relay that I had read about in these forums but it did not work, and I don't know why. Thanks I own a 1999 GS300 and my e-mail address is Copout221@core.com

Using the relay, you will need two separate sources for +. The switched + should come from the parking light tap and then the main power + should come from a fused source such as from the battery with inline fuse as a protection.

When you turn on the parking light, the 12V current from the parking light tapped source will energize your relay and connect the main source + to the 12V foglight.

Ok, I did the switched 12v but where does the constant 12v source get connected to on the stock relay ? Does it replace the constant 12v that is already there ? Thanks

Constant 12V connects directly to the battery but make sure there's an in-line fuse as close to the battery terminal as possible for safety.

Ok, but where on the STOCK relay does the constant 12v get connected. When I was probing the pins I thought I remembered that there was a constant 12v source already there. Why would that source not work ?? Do I need to rewire the lamps themselves ?? Thanks for your help !!
