FYI, key fob is waterproof
went swimming over the weekend and didnt notice the key FOB for my 2010 RX was in my pocket untill the end of day... went and tried to see if it works and have no problem.... this could just be me though..

Found that out last year when I had a loaner. Went jetskiing and tied the fob onto my shorts pull string since I didnt have anywhere else to put it. Was trying to be careful about falling in since I knew I had it but ended up falling in anyways. Got back to the RX and it was fine.
