Default 2009 IS250 AWD - Remote Start - 2 Starter Wires

Can anyone describe how to hook up a relay in order to connect both start wires of the IS to 1 on the brain of the remote start (viper 4704v). I'm going to be doing this tomorrow and want to be sure I get this base covered. A pic or just an 'x wire to pin 30 on the relay' would be really helpful. Thanks!

There's only: Violet: (+) Starter Output. I think I'm supposed to use a relay, but after testing I'm not having any issues with only using 1 starter wire.

I am installing in a 2009 Lexus is250 remote start, smart start cell phone link, and alarm. Also see two start wires. What wire did or didnt you use? If you dont arm the aftermarket alarm, can you enter the car if locked by unlocking with factory fob in pocket and just grabbing door handle, factory system unlocks and take over car while running? Also can factory proximity fob dis arm aftermarket alarm with handle grab? Does your power steering wheel still move into position during takeover? and puddle lamps work

1st if u read the install diagram the 4704 has 2 outputs (and 2 inputs for starter kill and remote start outputs) green is starter 1 in purple is starter 1 output... pink/black is aux 1 in and pink/white is aux 1 output.. its selectable thru programming whether its used for ign,acc or starter output... there is also an extra set of neg outputs for extra acc,ign,starter....

doubtful... but u can try this test start the car, roll down the driver door window get out of the car lock the door from the door switch walk away for 45secs.. walk back and see if the fob will lock/unlock the door..

if memory serves it wont work.. so u'd need to use the aftermarket remote to do doorlocks while the engine is running

as for the steering wheel it should already be i position when the engine starts

Default best transponder bypass idata, xpress kit, or fortin

What is best to use for remote start? Just got off phone with Idata and they do not suport secure takeover on 2009 is250, fortin / xpress kit says they do support take over but dont know if auto steering wheel positioning will work and idata says might not be safest for the car ??

Thanks for helping the newbee

it makes no difference either one u use.. all they do is transponder bypass (for the chip in the key) the takeover function is done thru the alarm not the module
