Can you believe this?!?!

http://www.aopen.com/products/mb/ax4b-533tube.htm

All the good stuff...no skimping on components either! I wonder if it has any problems with microphonics on the tube - power supplies, hard drives, etc do emit/transmit a good amount of vibration.

I'd definitely be interested to see what kind of quality sound comes out of that tube. This board is pretty sick though, did you check the PDF file on it Percy?

Looking (and semi drooling) through it right now... MultiCap PPFMX caps get my respect right away! Wonder if I can mod this thing?

Really cool, but...
WATCH OUT!!!
I took a quick look, but I did not see any audio specs on the output of this puppy. (If I missed it, I apologize.) There's a lot of whiz-bang stuff, kitchen sink included, but the trick to this design is keeping all of the digital noise and other artifacts out of the "high-end" analog output. You may find, on closer scrutiny, that this has great functionality, but more noise than you'd like on its output....I never like to see a heavy amount of digital stuff on the same board as the analog output. It really requires the system/board designer to do a pristine job of keeping grounds separated, current loops minimized, etc. If not done right, you wind up with S/N of 80-95 dB, not 100-110+. No matter how much you mod the components, if the power and ground planes and routing of the board are the cause, there's no hope.
