Default dim control, a/c lights and shift **** lights dont work

I've been working on installing a new stereo for a couple days now..

It seemed the lights on the 'P' 'R' ..etc. under the shift **** in the center console, the light behind the red emergency light button, and the dimmer controls(for gauges etc) worked / lit up when I had the new deck in and while the old was in.

I plugged the factory stereo back in, and still the lights didn't work, no dimmer control either. I did a quick glance at the fuses under the e-brake and they all looked fine, but I was using a flashlight and couldn't get a good look without pulling them all out.

I didn't check the fuses under the hood yet. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to go check the ones under the hood real quick..and take some pics.
