CD changer scratching CD's

CD changer scratching CD's
My 12 disk changer in my SC300 is sratching my CDs. I could actually feel the surficial scratches on the CD. Is there anything I could do to stop the changer from scratching the CDs or do I need to replace the changer? Thanks for all your help..
