"Bass" and where did mine go?
Ok the let me set it up. I got a new sub and amp for my 1992 LS400 and of course I wanted to keep a clean stock look for the interior. The wiring was a little tricky according to the installers and a line leveler was needed to convert the wires to RCA cables. That was in September. Admittedly I played the system alot but I never felt like I was getting the full potential from my sub(a new JL Audio W6 version 2 ) and amp (JL Audio 500/1 monobock su amp) but I continued anyway. Two weeks ago i was driving and then all of a sudden the bass just faded and since then when it plays it sounds like it is "farting" (technical term? I sure hope not) The only thing i could come up with was that I needed a new battery but my starts fine. Do I need
A) Another battery, if so how do i work that into my system and car?
B) A power cap, and do I need more than one
C) Or something competey different.
Any and all help would be very helpful. Thanks.

BLexACK LS,
If the sub changed suddenly, then something has failed. The sub or the amp may have an issue. Isolate and troubleshoot each before spending any money on more equipment.
