Here is the headunit that I have.

Is it possible to hook up my DVD player and my monitor so that I can watch the DVD but have the sound coming through my speakers? I was told I had to have audio inputs on my headunit to do this, but I don't think I have those. But I was told you can get an adapter that will make it work if my headunit has cd changer capabilties. Please help, I don't know electronics very well.

no, it wouldn't be worth it. plus it wouldn't sound good. you only have 2v preouts. upgrade to a better unit. for example the kenwood kvt-911dvd has a built in dvd/tv tuner/amfm/cd player all built into 1 unit thats touchscreen. you can get for like around 1700 on e-bay

I was considering changing mine, but wanted a single din in place of the center air vents and put a monitor where my double din currently is... Thanks Jamie

that would be very nice. but then you wouldhave to go through all the hassle of extending ALL 642,234,265 wires behind the ac vent to extend to where ever you would mount it.

Very true... I am not usre I will do it, it was just an idea. It would be preety sweet if I did it though...
