Default radio working but no audio HELP!!

My 2003 GS300 mark levinson system is acting upThe CD apparently plays, as does the tape, and the radio apparently tunes just like before. But, there's no sound at all from the speakers. When I press the Audio button on the head unit, all controls like "Bass", "Treble" and "Front/Rear--Left/Right Balance" appear greyed out on the display it won't move to adjust. And when i try to use the nav it says please wait system updating... The sound did come on once when i turned the car on but when i turned the car off it went back to not playing any suggestions?

try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins to reset the cpu.. if not unplugging the oem amp and plugging it back in after 5 mins... you may have a blown spkr or a shorted spkr lead...

I am pretty sure it's your amp, you have a bad amp. I have 07 Ls460 and I had the same problem everything worked on the audio system but no sound, all my audio button display does not work either. I changed out amp with a buddy of mine and everything worked as it should again.
