Default Burned out my stock amp :-(

Hello, i need some help. i upgraded all my stock speakers.. on my is250 non ML ..
i tap to the speakers wires that are in that stock amp ...with the aftermarket amp.. i was testing the speakers after install and i noticed some smoke out my stock amp now.. i cant control Volume... speakers still sound but i have not control of the audio..

Should i removed all the speakers wires connected to the stock amp and put it into the aftermarket or just tap to it? ..

Smoke is never good. The amp smoking is worse than the "magic smoke" from a woofer by quite a bit. You shouldn't have lost volume control unless you attempted to completely bypass the factory amp, in which it shouldn't be smoking unless you've connected something incorrectly. I want to say for you to go back to the drawing board and double check all of your connections and taps, but the smoke from the factory amp makes it sound like the damage has already been done. You may be stuck with buying a replacement off of eBay or doing a complete bypass with an aftermarket HU.

Glad to hear you figured it out. To be honest, running wire from your aftermarket amp directly to your speakers is the best way to do it anyway. High quality aftermarket speaker wire is much better than tapping into the OE speaker wires.
