LOTC

Currently I have a Pioneer Headunit and Myron and Davis monitors, but the only screen that shows on my montiors is the video screen. The radio and cd screen will not show on my monitors.

My friend had the same setup as I did, headunit and monitors in the headrests and the only screen that showed was the video screen. But when he installed a Alpine headunit the CD,Radio, and Video screen all show on the monitors now.

Does this have to do if the Alpine products? If so, if I switch to Alpine monitors and keep the Pioneer headunit, will my cd,radio, and videos screens all show now?

I would think this would be a function of the HU rather than the monitors. It sounds like the Alpine HU sends the signal for all the screens to the monitors while the Pioneer only sends the video screen.

You might want to check out the Clarion touchscreen H/U. I agree with Kyle. It would be a head-unit function. Monitors just show what they told to.

All Pioneer screens use RGB signals, so the HU output will only be video (or whatever composite video source is feed into the HU).

Hmm that is strange, because my friend had a Kenwood head unit before with the same monitors and it did not show all screens, but yet I saw LXOGOODS setup in his GS and he had the same Kenwood monitor and he had Alpine screens and it should every screen.
