Hi, Ive seen a couple member pics around who have stereo's like this. I'm looking for one that has a lcd (cd/dvd) thats not flip up. The front display is and lcd. I want it so it will take up 2 dins or 2 1/2 dins if possible (to fill the whole slot). I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything, I think someone said there was an older clarion model that was like this?

coincidentally, i will be having one for sale shortly, but I will be selling it with the trim plate i made for around it that fits a gs.
so that wont really work for your car.

oh and, it only plays cds, not dvds. you would have to buy an extra dvd player to attach to it so the screen plays dvds.
you could find dvd units that also play mp3s for about $150-$200.

I used to have a deck that covered the whole space (with a trim piece filling the small gaps left by a 2DIN fitment)... too bad it didn't work properly.

Well right now I have a 2 din jvc, but wanted to upgrade to a lcd/dvd player. I guess I will just have to buy a 1 din dvd and 1 din lcd.

Here is the clarion unit in my SC. I didnt know about the eclipse one or I would have probably gone that way. But you still need a seperate dvd player.

those things look awesome, I just wish they had a built in dvd player

yeah, me to. Mine did fit in the glove box but it doesnt leave room for much else.
