iPhone/Bluetooth/RX 350 question
First-time poster... the fact that I couldn't find this answer by searching tells me it's probably a dumb question, but here goes...
I just bought a 2010 RX 350 w/ Nav and have an iPhone 5. I can set up the phone to either use BT for the phone OR BT for audio (iPod function), but not both. Am I missing something? Trying to do something I can't? Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: I don't want to mirror the phone, just be able to play tunes and use the phone.

After pairing the iPhone as a phone go to Menu/Setup/Audio. Click on Bluetooth Audio Settings then Register.
Watch the phones Bluetooth screen and touch the Car Multimedia (or your customized name!) banner. It will pair up. Helpful general hint, turn your phone off and back on at least once a week, the reboot greatly aids the bluetooth cooperation.
Now the music will mute when you make or take a call and return when you are done talking. You can even use the Connect button to change to another paired device to listen to your phones music while making calls from another paired phone. It will always autopair back to your phone and music if you restart the car with only your phone present. Owner's Manual page 400 or www.lexusdrivers.com if books are missing.
