Default Radio Stations reception with a Japanese stereo??

I can't recall where I read it but what would be the problem with buying an stereo in Japan and the reception of radio stations here.

Different frequencies.

They use a setup of bands that barely overlap from what I remember. Most people just purchase an 18mhz shift kit that moves the freq to cross into the US bands.. However, you cannot really find one that will correct both ends of the spectrum.

Good Luck, but my feeling is that it just isn't worth it.

If a nice cool looking Double DIN or what ever your looking for why dont you get it.

At least you will have something no one else has.

If you saw in person all the awsome head units japan has you would get one. Yeah they are expensive depending on what you want.

Get the head unit from the U.S. that has the radio set up with CD and then get from Japan the same company the rest to finnish up your set up.

I would just get the whole thing from japan then add the adapter for AM/FM.

Im not much to listening to the radio.

Good Luck
